Generonix at MTA Showcase 2011

Generonix presented its network line power soultion at the Montana Telephone Association November Showcase in Billings Montana. As the guest of KGP Logistics, Generonix and KGP co-presented "Network Line Power Overview" to a group of interested Telecom Professionals. The presentation addressed the advantages of Network Line Power over traditional battery back-up systems for powering remote telecommunications equipment.

Generonix Wins High Tech Rochester Award for Business Plan

High Tech Rochester (HTR), a a nonprofit economic development organization that runs two business incubators in the Rochester area, announced that Generonix, Inc., was selected as having the best business plan in 2009. It was awarded first prize at HTR's first Celebration of Entrepreneurship. The organization considered 34 prize applications before narrowing the list to five finalists. Generonix Provides Municipal Wi-Fi For Park Avenue Festival In Rochester, NY

Ease of deployment allows dynamic installation of two deployments of CopperReach and Wi-Fi radio just in time for the Park Avenue Annual street festival on the weekend of August 2, 2008

Frontier Networks in conjunction with Generonix set up two Wi-Fi deployments on Park Avenue to support annual Rochester's Park Avenue Festival, one at Park and Berkeley Street, and one at Park and Oxford Street. CopperReach was chosen over using local AC power, because it could be rapidly installed, and provide power in locations where AC power was not available, but fiber optic cable was. Both units used fiber optic media converters to provide broadband Internet connectivity to the dozens of vendors and thousands of people who attended the festival.

Outdoor Wi-Fi power installation reduced from months to minutes

Rochester, NY (April 14, 2008)- Frontier Communications has launched a field trial of the Generonix CopperReach product in Brighton, NY. The trial will demonstrate Frontier's ability to rapidly rollout municipal Wi-Fi networks.

CopperReach is a revolutionary device that provides network line power and Ether net data backhaul for Wi-Fi access points, surveillance cameras, 4.9 GHZ public safety, traffic control, VOIP, and other field mounted electronics in outdoor networks. Two CopperReach nodes were deployed in Brighton, providing reliable and cost-effective battery backed line power and fiber optic broadband access for Tropos MetroMesh® Wi-Fi radios, reducing the months-long process of obtaining power for outdoor Wi-Fi radios to less than forty-five minutes.

CopperReach allows telecommunications companies to use their existing copper network to deploy new revenue generating services from outdoor networks applications. It provides reliable network line power to any field-mounted device requiring 48vDC or 110vAC power. The product has options for broadband Ethernet access over advanced digital subscriber lines or fiber optic cables, and supports the emerging "Power over Ethernet" PoE standard.
